As the winter thaws and the first signs of spring begin to emerge, garden enthusiasts and home growers alike start dreaming about the bounty of the upcoming growing season. One of the most anticipated pleasures of gardening is the cultivation of tomatoes, a staple in gardens that promise both flavor and color. This year, Nunan’s Garden Center is thrilled to announce an exceptional selection of tomato plants, featuring over 25 varieties that cater to every tomato lover’s palate and gardening ambition.

From the robust and hearty to the sweet and succulent, Nunan’s Garden Center has meticulously curated a collection of tomato plants that will transform your garden into a cornucopia of flavors. Let’s take a closer look at some of the standout varieties that will be gracing our greenhouses this spring:

  • Big Beef: An all-around champion, Big Beef tomatoes offer the classic tomato taste with the added benefits of being disease resistant and vigorous. These plants produce large, flavorful fruits that are perfect for slicing and adding to any dish.
  • Beef Master: True to its name, the Beef Master variety yields massive tomatoes that can weigh up to two pounds each. These tomatoes are ideal for those who love to make a statement with their cooking, providing ample flesh with minimal seeds.
  • Celebrity: A favorite among gardeners for its versatility and reliability, Celebrity tomatoes produce medium-sized fruits that are excellent for eating fresh or cooking. This variety is known for its disease resistance and consistent yield.
  • Fourth of July: Celebrate the beginning of summer with one of the earliest tomatoes to ripen. Fourth of July tomatoes are medium-sized, perfect for salads and snacking, and bring a burst of flavor to your Independence Day celebrations.
  • Sweet 100: For those who love to snack straight from the vine, Sweet 100s are a must-grow. These cherry tomatoes are incredibly sweet and prolific, producing hundreds of fruits per plant.

  • Yield: For those who pride themselves on the bounty their garden produces, this category is for you. Bring in five of your largest tomatoes to be weighed, and may the heaviest harvest win!
