Lisa Brennan,
Floral Manager, Designer
Our Florist team (and everyone here at Nunan’s!) benefits from Lisa’s passion and creativity. Spend two minutes with her and you’ll see it too. She’s simply driven to help others. Brides, event planners and our everyday customers love working with Lisa. She’ll get to know you, understand your vision for that special day, walk you through the creative process, and alleviate you of your worries and details.
As a floral designer with us for the last 3 years, we’re always impressed by her stunning floral arrangements. What’s more, is that she simply makes this a great place to work every day! Along with her Master’s degree, she’s been able to successfully merge her creativity and business acumen to become a highly sought-after floral designer on the Northshore. With 3 grown children, Lisa and her husband strive to spend more time at the beach, hiking and playing tennis – when she’s not in her creative mode here at Nunan’s!
Nick Novello,
Floral Designer/Sympathy Specialist
We all lean on Nick and his 48 Years of floral design! He’s become very well-known regionally for his eye-catching designs. He has that special knack for design – his creations reflect and compliment the mood and character of every occasion. And it’s not just Nick’s design skills that win people over – it’s his heart. Nick’s empathy and big heart are easy to see; It’s why he’s been well suited as a Floral sympathy specialist for almost five decades.
Nick’s history of floral design started with high honors from the Rittners School of Floral Design in Boston. After 42 years being self-employed in the industry, we were lucky enough to have him join our team. Nick is the consummate family man, and his 4 grandchildren keep he and his wife plenty busy. Somehow Nick manages to sneak in some beach/cruise time when he’s free and dabbles in oil painting too!
Ron Adkins,
Wedding Specialist
Although Ron’s design talents are suited to just about any occasion, he finds his passion and joy helping to create a memorable Wedding Day. Have a chat with Ron and you’ll see – he’ll share in your joy and become a part of your planning team to ensure every floral detail is addressed. Brides and event planners love Ron because he leaves nothing to chance, and your day is as important to him as it is to you.
You’d never guess it’s been this long, but Ron started in the floral industry 43 years ago! He was already winning honors and awards as a teenager at Agricultural High School in Bristol County. He continues to be adorned with honors at floral design shows still today! He’s really done it all in the Floral Industry, from quaint shops to larger venues in Boston and working as a funeral specialist too…we couldn’t be happier that Ron is fulfilling his passion as our Wedding Specialist here at Nunan’s!
Jennifer Doane,
Assistant Floral Manager
Jennifer took a turn from corporate America a few years back – and we’re so glad she did. While working in the business world, Jennifer would joke that if she ever won the lottery, that she’d become a floral designer because that’s where her passion is. Well…if anyone is the winner here, it’s us here at Nunan’s and our customers. When life threw Jennifer a curveball, she decided to pursue her passion in Floristry, and she hasn’t looked back.
It’s the love of all things creative that fuels her, and while her unique floral design skills are always at the forefront here, you’ll find her crafting and gardening in her free time too. Jennifer’s creativity seems to come naturally – she loves that final ‘touch’ that brings designs together and makes our customers smile. We’re so happy to have Jennifer on the team, she brings her smile everywhere she goes!
